We are so thankful for the opportunity to experience Ashevillage on our recent visit to NC. From the moment we stepped on the property, we knew we had entered a special place.Ashevillage Sanctuary guest
Permaculture land-use ethics invite us to protect intact ecosystems where they remain and, where ecosystems have been destroyed, to help restore them. Permaculture design also suggests that we take care of earth while taking care of people.Juliana Birnbaum Fox
I chose to stay at Ashevillage to see and experience what they are co-creating there & also to support their community concept.Ann, Ashevillage Sanctuary guest
The quality of this program was only exceeded by the kindness and support of the staff. If this is what an Ashevillage program is like, I will be back soon.Food As Medicine Workshop Participant
I’m really grateful for this week, to be able to get my hands dirty and work and do so many new things, that’s not normally the case to be able to learn so much so fast. I’m so grateful for all of the teachers and their compassion and love.Chloe, Natural Building Workshop Participant
It was one of the best experiences of my life. Wonderful instructors, beautiful setting and the best brought out of us all. Learning the art and beauty of mixing dirt, clay, straw, bamboo and wood to create nearly any type of structure has been true inspiration.Chris, NBX Participant 2012
I definitely got more out of the Natural Building Extravaganza than what I expected. I feel like I learned so much more this week than a whole year of school. It was absolutely worth every penny it took to get me here.Sarah, NBX Participant 2013
I have been incorporating fermentation in everything. Just made yogurt cheese to be ready for Friday night’s book club dinner at our house. Everyday I make a new type of dish with some fermentation type of process. I ate a radish salad tonight that I never would have made if not for the class. What I also recall is the fun everyone had, and the good times of being together sharing skills. Good memories.Food As Medicine Workshop Participant
