We sense that ‘normal’ isn’t coming back, that we are being born into a new normal: a new kind of society, a new relationship to the earth, a new experience of being human.Charles Eisenstein
We felt honored to stay at Ashevillage (such lovely accommodations!), participate in the life and times of such an exciting place, and get to know you and the community. This workshop will allow me to step into the new level of food preparation choices that I never thought I would be able to try: yogurt, kombucha, canning & so much more.Food As Medicine Workshop Participant
I have been incorporating fermentation in everything. Just made yogurt cheese to be ready for Friday night’s book club dinner at our house. Everyday I make a new type of dish with some fermentation type of process. I ate a radish salad tonight that I never would have made if not for the class. What I also recall is the fun everyone had, and the good times of being together sharing skills. Good memories.Food As Medicine Workshop Participant

Natural building is a part of the sustainability movement that is rapidly growing in our world. I love it! I’ll take this knowledge deeper, building and designing projects back home.Shelley Stenzel, Natural Building Apprentice
I definitely got more out of the Natural Building Extravaganza than what I expected. I feel like I learned so much more this week than a whole year of school. It was absolutely worth every penny it took to get me here.Sarah, NBX Participant 2013
